Diamont Celeriac

Don’t underestimate this unassuming root crop! Related to celery this plant produces a lovely flavoured milky white root with a hard exterior that should be cut off before eating. Wonderful for Fall and Winter slaws, soups, and roasted! Delicate flavour that sweetens after frost. Slow to germinate so start in a greenhouse in a pot/tray starting in Feb/March and transplant outside in April/May. Water consistently for best results. 115 days to maturity but the wait is well worth it!
