Markets & Farm Stands
The Moss Street Market has offered Victoria a thriving marketplace for locally produced organic produce, baked goods, crafts, and music for more than 20 years. With over 100 vendors, live music, children’s tent, and special events, it collectively stimulates and strengthens the local economy and embodies the best features of a healthy community!
Summer (May through October):
Located at the corner of Moss Street and Fairfield Road in the Sir James Douglas school yard and boulevard. Saturdays 10am-2pm.
Winter (November through April):
Located in the gym of Sir James Douglas Elementary (401 Moss Street). Saturdays 10am-1pm.
The James Bay Market has been in operation for 17 years in Victoria’s oldest residential area, full of restored character homes and bordering on the popular Inner Harbour. With 40 produce, crafts and cooked food vendors, and lively entertainment, the James Bay Market offers an intimate, country style market in the middle of the city.
Located at the corner of Menzies Street and Superior Street. May through September, Saturdays 9am-3pm.
Esquimalt Market, Thursday
The Esquimalt Farmers Market takes place at Esquimalt Memorial Park on Thursdays from 4:30-7:30pm from April 6 - September 14. Memorial Park is located at 1200 Esquimalt Rd. Public parking is available at the Esquimalt Rec Center and Archie Browning Lot.
Sea Bluff Farms takes part in the Metchosin Farmers Market . The market takes place at the Metchosin Municipal Grounds, 4450 Happy Valley Road, on Sundays from 11 am to 2 pm from May (Mother's Day) to the last Sunday in October.
