Red Kuri Hubbard Squash

Red Kuri is one of our favourite winter squashes for its deep colour and flavour. Nothing beats pureed red kuri soup to warm those winter days! Produces well even in cooler summers with fruit around 3-4 lb in size. Cure well with lots of air circulation for long storage. Sow in pots in a greenhouse in April and plant out 2-3 feet apart in May, or direct seed three seeds per spot and thin to the strongest plant. Produces best with fertile soil. 100 days
